Abstract
This paper is motivated by the need for improved methods of dealing with microstrip patch antennas in food preservation. An iterative scheme based on the wavelet transform is proposed for handling the nonlinear terms. The measured response differed from the predicted one by less than 53% throughout the test programme. The methodology developed here can be readily adapted to related engineering problems.
