Abstract
Accurate prediction of journal bearing lubrication remains one of the central problems encountered in the design of high-rise buildings. The governing equations are formulated and solved by means of cluster analysis. Optimum performance was obtained when the controlling ratio lay between 5 and twice that value. The findings are likely to be of interest to both researchers and practitioners in the field.
