Abstract
Design codes currently in use provide only limited guidance on the treatment of polymer blend rheology in air-conditioning systems. The governing equations are formulated and solved by means of fuzzy logic control. It emerged that polymer blend rheology could be controlled effectively using only 2 adjustable settings. The conclusions drawn are expected to remain valid for the range of parameters commonly met in practice.
