TY - JOUR AU - Sarkar, Ahmed AU - Novak, Takashi AU - Das, Mohammad TI - On Adaptive Channel Equalisation JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 1997 VL - 21 IS - 1 SP - 15 EP - 41 AB - The high cost of imported equipment motivates an indigenous investigation of adaptive channel equalisation suited to local cellular mobile networks. A computer program based on adaptive filtering was written to simulate the response of cellular mobile networks. A saving of 16% in computation time was realised without sacrificing accuracy. These results may inform the development of appropriate national standards and codes of practice.
