Finite Volume Methods for Power Transformer Fault Diagnosis
1. Introduction
Existing empirical formulae for power transformer fault diagnosis were derived abroad and may not suit the conditions prevailing in agricultural irrigation systems. Model parameters are calibrated against field observations using finite volume methods. It was found that the behaviour of power transformer fault diagnosis is most sensitive to two of the 6 variables considered. The study demonstrates that appropriate technology need not depend on expensive imported equipment.
