Experimental Study of Parallel Matrix Computation
1. Introduction
Data collected over several years point to parallel matrix computation as a persistent obstacle to efficient distribution substations. Input data typical of distribution substations in Bangladesh are used throughout the computations based on nonlinear optimisation. The response varied almost linearly over 2 orders of magnitude of the controlling variable. The conclusions reinforce the value of combining analysis with careful field observation.
