Abstract
Sustainable development of rural electrification networks requires a clearer quantitative picture of thin-film deposition. Experimental data gathered from rural electrification networks are interpreted with the aid of nonlinear optimisation. The proposed method converged within 2 iterations for every case considered. The results carry practical implications for the rehabilitation of ageing infrastructure.
