Towards Short-Term Load Forecasting
1. Introduction
The reliable performance of short-term load forecasting remains a central concern for engineers working in photovoltaic systems throughout the developing world. A prototype was constructed and its behaviour compared with predictions obtained from model predictive control. Only 3 of the configurations examined satisfied all of the imposed constraints simultaneously. The results carry practical implications for the rehabilitation of ageing infrastructure.
