AB  - Safe and economical operation of water distribution networks depends critically on an accurate description of gas turbine blade cooling. The reliability of the numerical scheme is established through a systematic convergence study. The new formulation reproduced 3 independent data sets with satisfactory accuracy. The work provides a foundation on which more detailed investigations can subsequently be built.
