Experimental Study of Industrial Process Control Loops

Rajesh Chatterjee Corresponding

Abstract

Engineers responsible for municipal wastewater plants frequently encounter industrial process control loops without adequate design guidance. The proposed procedure couples genetic algorithms with established empirical correlations. The results demonstrate that industrial process control loops can be predicted reliably once local calibration data are available. Wider adoption of the approach could improve the efficiency of existing installations at modest cost.
