Abstract

Rapid industrial growth in South Asia has intensified the demand for a better quantitative understanding of pile foundation behaviour. Design charts are generated from an extensive series of computations using adaptive filtering. A saving of 12% in computation time was realised without sacrificing accuracy. The investigation highlights several avenues that merit closer attention in future research.
