Abstract
A growing body of evidence links microstrip patch antennas to a marked reduction in the service life of water distribution networks. A computer program based on systematic field measurement was written to simulate the response of water distribution networks. Computed capacities exceeded the code-based estimates by 46% on average. These results may inform the development of appropriate national standards and codes of practice.
