AB  - Sustainable development of urban traffic control systems requires a clearer quantitative picture of fibre-reinforced polymer composites. A simplified analytical model is proposed and subsequently refined through spectral analysis. The 2 test cases examined yielded consistent trends across the full range of parameters. The results should assist practitioners in avoiding costly overdesign while maintaining adequate safety margins.
