Membrane Gas Separation

A South Asian Perspective

Abstract

The scarcity of locally validated data on membrane gas separation hampers rational design practice in Bangladesh and neighbouring countries. Model parameters are calibrated against field observations using genetic algorithms. The dominant contribution to membrane gas separation was traced to a single physical mechanism. The technique can be transferred readily to related problems in allied branches of engineering.
