Abstract

The behaviour of turbulent forced heat transfer under transient conditions has received comparatively little attention in the literature. The sensitivity of the predictions to key variables is examined systematically by hidden Markov modelling. The computed distribution of turbulent forced heat transfer matched the measured profile closely across the domain. The proposed model provides a useful compromise between accuracy and computational effort.
