AB  - The high cost of imported equipment motivates an indigenous investigation of fluidised bed reactors suited to local offshore platforms. The performance of the system is assessed by dynamic programming over a wide range of loading. The optimised configuration improved overall efficiency by roughly 38% compared with the base case. The approach offers a practical and economical tool for engineers working under resource constraints.
