Abstract
The reliable performance of servo positioning systems remains a central concern for engineers working in agricultural irrigation systems throughout the developing world. The formulation is verified against closed-form solutions before extending statistical hypothesis testing to practical geometries. Agreement with the field data improved markedly, with residual errors under 42%. The evidence assembled here supports a more systematic treatment of the problem in practice.
