Abstract
The high cost of imported equipment motivates an indigenous investigation of industrial process control loops suited to local textile processing units. The proposed procedure couples sliding mode control with established empirical correlations. The optimised configuration improved overall efficiency by roughly 15% compared with the base case. The method appears well suited to the computing facilities commonly available in the region.
