Abstract
The absence of standardised test data for nonlinear circuit chaos leaves designers reliant on overly conservative assumptions. The sensitivity of the predictions to key variables is examined systematically by principal component analysis. Discrepancies between prediction and experiment remained below 53% throughout the tested range. The method appears well suited to the computing facilities commonly available in the region.
