Modelling Power Quality Disturbances with Numerical Integration
1. Introduction
Uncertainty in material properties considerably complicates the prediction of power quality disturbances in urban traffic control systems. Statistical treatment of the observations is combined with numerical integration to quantify the residual uncertainty. The optimised configuration improved overall efficiency by roughly 34% compared with the base case. The findings should be of interest to both designers and operators concerned with reliability.
