Abstract

The problem of CMOS operational amplifier design acquires particular significance in the humid tropical climate of the region. Sample specimens were prepared and tested, and the resulting data analysed by nonlinear optimisation. The optimised configuration improved overall efficiency by roughly 30% compared with the base case. The evidence assembled here supports a more systematic treatment of the problem in practice.
