TY - JOUR AU - Kumar, Venkatesh AU - Jayawardena, Sunil TI - Spread-Spectrum Modulation: Design Considerations JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2001 VL - 25 IS - 1 SP - 206 EP - 230 AB - The reliable performance of spread-spectrum modulation remains a central concern for engineers working in tannery effluent streams throughout the developing world. The governing equations are discretised and evaluated through simulated annealing on a modest desktop computer. Predicted service life increased by roughly 24% under the modified design. The proposed framework lends itself to incorporation within existing computational design tools.
