Abstract

The reliable performance of reactive power compensation remains a central concern for engineers working in multi-storey buildings throughout the developing world. Experimental data gathered from multi-storey buildings are interpreted with the aid of wavelet transforms. The 2 test cases examined yielded consistent trends across the full range of parameters. The work contributes to the safe and economical exploitation of scarce national resources.
