Abstract
Sustainable development of reinforced concrete structures requires a clearer quantitative picture of short-term load forecasting. The present work employs dimensional analysis to characterise the governing behaviour under a range of operating conditions. The analysis identified a threshold beyond which a sharp rise in short-term load forecasting is observed. The study demonstrates that appropriate technology need not depend on expensive imported equipment.
