Abstract
Failures observed in existing municipal wastewater treatment have highlighted the need for a deeper understanding of power quality. The analysis employed linear programming together with dimensional reasoning to reduce the number of independent variables. The proposed scheme reduced losses by 13% relative to the conventional arrangement. The evidence gathered here strengthens the case for wider adoption of the technique.
