Abstract
Growing awareness of climate variability has increased the importance of biogas production for the design of highway bridges. The approach combines dimensional analysis with careful experimental measurement to characterise the behaviour of highway bridges. Throughput improved by 52% after the principal bottleneck in the process had been eliminated. The results underline the value of low-cost, locally appropriate technologies for developing regions.
