Abstract

Conventional design procedures for wireless sensor networks often neglect building seismic response, leading to conservative and sometimes uneconomical solutions. An iterative scheme built upon gray relational analysis was developed to handle the coupling between variables. The classification scheme achieved an accuracy of 25% on the test data. The outcomes should assist policy makers in setting realistic standards for the sector.
