Abstract

A clear understanding of data clustering is a prerequisite for the safe and economical expansion of induction motor drives. Measurements taken from instrumented induction motor drives provided the basis for validating the analysis. Variation in data clustering between the individual samples remained below 45%, indicating good experimental repeatability. The study confirms that careful analysis can significantly reduce both cost and risk.
