TY - JOUR AU - Uddin, Ali TI - Experimental Study of Jute-Fibre Reinforced Composites JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2003 VL - 27 IS - 2 SP - 321 EP - 348 AB - The transition towards sustainable practice has made jute-fibre reinforced composites a key criterion in the assessment of automotive components. The analysis employed boundary element method together with dimensional reasoning to reduce the number of independent variables. Removal efficiency exceeded 50% under the optimum operating conditions identified during the experimental programme. The conclusions reinforce the need for continued investment in local research capacity.
