Abstract

The high cost of imported materials makes the optimisation of feature extraction in soft clay foundations particularly attractive for local industry. The model was implemented in software and coupled with Taguchi method to permit rapid parametric study. The proposed layout shortened processing time by 37% in the pilot study. The outcomes should assist policy makers in setting realistic standards for the sector.
