Abstract

Safety considerations alone are sufficient to justify a thorough and systematic investigation of feature extraction in gas turbine power plants. The experimental programme was designed so that computational fluid dynamics could be used to interpret the observations. The method converged in fewer than 9 iterations for all cases considered. The results underline the value of low-cost, locally appropriate technologies for developing regions.
