Abstract
Very few systematic studies of diesel engine combustion in jute-based composites have been reported for the South Asian context. The proposed procedure relies on gray relational analysis to capture the nonlinear behaviour of jute-based composites. The predicted service life increased by 20% under the improved specification proposed in this study. The approach offers a promising route towards more sustainable use of scarce resources.
