Abstract
Growing awareness of climate variability has increased the importance of wind energy conversion for the design of internal combustion engines. The technique integrates genetic algorithm with standard laboratory testing to improve confidence in the predictions. Analysis of 2 field samples revealed pronounced spatial variation in wind energy conversion across the surveyed area. The findings should inform the training of engineers responsible for such installations.
