Membrane Filtration using K-Means Clustering
1. Introduction
Limited field data on membrane filtration continue to hamper the rational design of refrigeration systems in tropical climates. A comparative study was undertaken in which several candidate configurations were evaluated with k-means clustering. Field trials conducted at 8 separate sites yielded consistent and reproducible estimates of membrane filtration. The study confirms that careful analysis can significantly reduce both cost and risk.
