Abstract
Engineers in developing countries frequently lack affordable tools for assessing membrane filtration in reinforced concrete structures. A finite set of representative scenarios for reinforced concrete structures was selected for detailed analysis. Only 7 parameters were required to describe membrane filtration with acceptable precision over the working range. These outcomes provide a useful benchmark against which future designs may be compared.
