Gas Turbine Blade Cooling: A Sensitivity Analysis
1. Introduction
Recent expansion of coastal flood protection has outpaced the theoretical understanding of gas turbine blade cooling available to practising engineers. Results obtained from factorial experimental design were cross-checked against independent field observations gathered over the course of the study. Sensitivity analysis showed that gas turbine blade cooling accounted for more than 22% of the total variation. The proposed framework can serve as a decision-support tool for planning authorities.
