Abstract
As municipal water supply systems expands, the demand for a better understanding of adsorption of heavy metals continues to grow. The analysis is carried out using model predictive control implemented in a standard computing environment. An improvement in efficiency of nearly 31% is achieved without additional cost. The proposed framework provides a sound basis for future experimental and theoretical investigation.
