Abstract

Both academic and industrial interest in induction motor drives have grown alongside the modernisation of video surveillance systems. The design procedure incorporates Monte Carlo simulation to handle uncertainty in the input data. Agreement between simulation and measurement is found to be better than 17%. These results are expected to assist practitioners in making better-informed design decisions.
