K-Means Clustering for Biodiesel Production from Jatropha: Concept and Realisation
1. Introduction
The need for sustainable and low-cost solutions has focused attention on biodiesel production from jatropha within the Bay of Bengal coast. The behaviour of the system is predicted by coupling k-means clustering with a physically based description of the Bay of Bengal coast. A payback period of about 2 years is estimated for the proposed installation. The conclusions drawn here are consistent with observations reported elsewhere in the literature.
