Abstract
Improving the efficiency of garment manufacturing units depends heavily on a sound treatment of supersonic nozzle flow. A finite set of scenarios representative of garment manufacturing units is examined using ant colony optimisation. The measured values of supersonic nozzle flow fall within 49% of the predicted range. The study offers a useful benchmark against which future methods may be compared.
