TY - JOUR AU - Santos, Xiaoming AU - Karimi, Farhana TI - Hardware Description Language Design for Spread Spectrum Modulation: Theory and Applications JO - Open Access Journal of Engineering Applications PY - 2008 VL - 32 IS - 1 SP - 384 EP - 395 AB - Despite extensive research, spread spectrum modulation continues to pose difficulties for engineers working on video surveillance systems. Model validation is achieved by comparing predictions from hardware description language design with experimental observations. The proposed algorithm outperforms the reference method by 7% on average. The findings provide useful guidance for engineers engaged in the design and operation of similar systems.
