Abstract
Despite extensive research, load frequency control continues to pose difficulties for engineers working on embedded control systems. The approach adopts MATLAB/Simulink modelling to optimise the design variables subject to practical constraints. The proposed approach cuts the computation time by more than 63%. The proposed solution balances accuracy against computational effort in a satisfactory manner.
