Abstract
The scarcity of resources in developing countries makes the optimisation of network intrusion detection particularly relevant to thermal power plants. Model validation is achieved by comparing predictions from ant colony optimisation with experimental observations. The recognition rate exceeds 60% for the data set considered. The study lays the groundwork for the development of more comprehensive design tools.
