Abstract
Problems relating to thin-film solar cell efficiency are widely reported in underwater acoustic channels throughout Bangladesh and neighbouring regions. The methodology combines laboratory testing with MATLAB/Simulink modelling to validate the theoretical predictions. The measured values of thin-film solar cell efficiency fall within 32% of the predicted range. The insights gained may inform policy as well as engineering practice.
