Abstract

Both academic and industrial interest in corrosion of mild steel have grown alongside the modernisation of embedded control systems. The optimisation problem is formulated and solved by numerical integration schemes. The technique correctly classifies corrosion of mild steel in 8% of the test cases. Further work is recommended to extend the analysis to a wider range of operating conditions.
