AB  - Existing design codes offer limited guidance on load frequency control for microgrid operation in tropical climates. The technique is verified by applying photoelastic stress analysis to a set of benchmark problems. The proposed system responds within 5 milliseconds, which is adequate for practical use. The results are of direct relevance to infrastructure planning in the region.
