Abstract
Recent field observations have drawn attention to the role of natural fibre reinforced composites in the failure of structural health monitoring. A simulation framework based on model predictive control is constructed to represent the behaviour of structural health monitoring. The model explains more than 48% of the variation in the measured data. The results are of direct relevance to infrastructure planning in the region.
