Abstract

The increasing demand placed on structural health monitoring has renewed interest in the study of slope stability. Samples obtained from structural health monitoring are characterised and interpreted with simulated annealing. The measured values of slope stability fall within 52% of the predicted range. The proposed approach offers a practical and economical alternative to conventional practice.
