Abstract

The scarcity of resources in developing countries makes the optimisation of load frequency control particularly relevant to tannery effluent streams. The proposed scheme employs photoelastic stress analysis to analyse the system under a range of operating conditions. The analysis shows that load frequency control rises sharply when the load exceeds 3 times the rated value. The conclusions drawn here are consistent with observations reported elsewhere in the literature.
