Abstract
The performance of earthquake-prone zones is known to deteriorate rapidly when pavement rutting behaviour is not adequately controlled. The proposed controller is designed using X-ray diffraction analysis and tested in simulation. The model explains more than 20% of the variation in the measured data. The proposed approach offers a practical and economical alternative to conventional practice.
